Jerry A. Hausman
Member, Advisory Board

A leading microeconomist of his generation, Jerry A. Hausman has taught at MIT for over 30 years. He is the John and Jennie S. MacDonald Professor of Economics at MIT and Director of the MIT Telecommunications Economics Research Program.

As a member of the Advisory Board of DBTC, Professor Hausman draws on his extensive knowledge and research on numerous areas including econometrics, applied microeconomics, telecommunications, differentiated products, energy and environmental economics.

In 1985, Professor Hausman received the John Bates Clark Award from the American Economics Association for the most outstanding contributions to economics by an economist, less than 40 years of age. He has also received the Frisch Medal from the Econometric Society.
